This year, it's flowers, flowers, flowers! You can use flowers to decorate every element of your wedding, from your wedding stationery to your favors. Save money on flowers by using those that are in season, or buy one type of flower in bulk for your bouquets or centerpieces. Use your arrangements twice – as aisle decorations during the ceremony and on reception tables as centerpieces. Bridesmaids' bouquets can also double as table decorations. Afterwards, consider donating your wedding flowers to a local nursing home or hospital.

Floral accents are big this year – and they’re showing up on the all-important dress. We’re seeing floral embellishments as appliqués and silk flowers on every part of the wedding dress – from the neckline to the hemline. Floral details work for any type of wedding, from garden nuptials to a city hall ceremony to a ballroom wedding. The floral look is feminine and sweet – and can match the color of the dress or the flowers in a bridal bouquet. A budget-friendly idea is to choose a red and white wine that can be served with appetizers, the main course and dessert. Wine with dessert? Absolutely!
